Fire & Burglar Alarm Systems

Aberdeen Lock & Security provides a wide array of intruder alarm solutions to insurance recognised SSAIB standards, all installed and maintained to the new European standards, EN standards PD6662 AND EN50131 which includes sequentially confirmed, audio confirmed and video confirmed systems. Systems also conform to the latest ACPO (Scotland) policy (APCOS).

We offer all types of signalling equipment . Most systems are now set and unset via radio remote controls or proximity card/keyfob. Systems can be integrated with one card doing cashless vending, identity card, access control and control of the intruder alarm.

KEY INTRUDER ALARM COMPONENTS

CONTROL PANELS AND KEYPADS
ALSC control panels and keypads monitor detection devices, setting & un-setting, anti tamper as well as controlling sounders and signalling such as digital dialler, speech dialler, Red Care and we are now installing the latest Internet Protocol devices. 

DETECTORS AND SENSORS
ALSC detectors and sensors comply with alarm confirmation technology DD243 standards and can be used to detect an intruder prior to entering the premises or after they have entered the premises. The latest confirmation technology reduces incidences of false alarms. A range of hard wired and radio panic alarms can be provided to protect your personnel.

SOUNDERS AND SIGNALLING
ALSC Sounders and signalling devices can alert someone locally , via text message, voice message or remotely to our appointed alarm receiving centre. We can be notified of setting and unsetting, tampering, power failures, fire, flood or panic situations.

SMOKE CLOAK SYSTEMS
As part of a total loss prevention system, ALSC can provide a system which fills a room with harmless smoke making it impossible for an intruder to see your valuables, “burglars can't steal what they can’t see.”

FIRE DETECTION AND ALARM SYSTEMS

Every second counts if a fire occurs in your premises, that’s why installing the most complete system from your fire risk assessment is so important. A well designed, installed and maintained fire detection system from ALSC can make all the difference. ALSC can design, supply, install and commission many types of fire systems and service and maintain any fire alarm system even if we didn’t install it for you.

ALSC can supply a wide range of conventional and/or analogue addressable fire alarm accessories including some of the life safety industry’s leading:

The radio based Fire Alarm Systems (above right) are ideally suited where it is impractical to run conventional fire proof cabling around a building, either because of the disruption to the building decoration particularly listed buildings, or simply not practical for business reasons i.e. Hotels, Hospitals, public places etc. where a conventional Fire Alarm installation could take weeks to install. Under these conditions the Radio System can be more cost effective.

As part of your overall fire plan ALSC can also provide and maintain emergency lighting and fire extinguishers.
